Battle Wound Framed by Crank Puller

Well, I did end up going to the chiropractor after my accident yesterday. The doc snapped me back into shape, and I feel tremendously better. And, my knee now has a nice bruise actually looks worse than it feels. Here’s a picture of both legs to show contrast.

I’m in the process of upgrading blogs and trying to find a decent image plugin for wordpress. You’d think this would be an easy task. But no. I thought TanTan Noodles Wordpress plugin would be the way to go, but I can’t figure out how to align the damn thing on the page. The wordpress default works great for that. So I struggle on. The other task I wanted to get around to was to upgrade the look and feel of this site so it isn’t so 2005.

And, it’s been one of those days where I had a set list to get done, and something *always* interrupted me. I started working on this post, for example at 3 something this afternoon, and here it is nearly 6PM and I’m just getting to type it out. I’ve been plagued with phone calls…it’s been crazy. Not that it’s that great of post, but still.

The crank puller was actually the highlight of my day. I love new tools, and I dig the fact that I am going to work on my bike. I’ve worked on cars before, but never bikes, so this is a new thing for me.

Not to mention the fact it frames the ‘battle wound’ so well.

Hm,… I’ve heard of “yanking your crank”, but I never knew there was a manufactured tool for it.

One of these days I’m gonna put this on a t-shirt and make my 2nd million. Oh yes, I’m working on my 2nd– they say the 2nd million is easier, so I gave up on the first one.

Feel free to quote me, so log as I get attibution!!!

Be careful with the crank puller. You don’t want to strip any of the delicate aluminum threads.
Regarding the photo uploader for WordPress, I see that you are using WP 2.6. I use the image uploader in the editor as well. What features are you looking for? Have you looked at http://weblogtoolscollection.com for plugins and themes?

  3. I knew an old military man like you would appreciate that! And, you *can* put it on your own t-shirt and sell it. Ever heard of cafepress.com?
