A Sick Pooch & Sick of CSS
Filed under FooAug 6The last 2 days I’ve been fighting a CSS from hell. I worked it one night, lost changes, changed it again, and it was still all screwed up. Today was a more productive day, but I really am sick of this CSS.
To top it off, Sebastian has been feeling sick. Yesterday, he didn’t want to eat breakfast, though he did, and then he ignored supper altogether. Today, no breakfast, and he slept most of the day, and gave me sad, “Mama, I feel horrible” looks all day.
So, thinking I’ll be the good mom, I decide maybe I need to take him to the vet. “OH BOY…CAR RIDE”…well, he was well enough for a car ride and when we got to the vet, he was acting like his old self. Well, mostly. He was a little sluggish — at least for him — if you define ‘sluggish’ as greeting every person who walks in the door as a long lost buddy.
Thankfully, I took him home BEFORE the vet saw him as I figured if he’s ok for being a ‘pet me slut’ he was ok.
Thankfully, he seems better now, although I really hope I don’t wake up at 3AM to a living room full of diarrhea. Because that really really sucks.
Especially when you step in it. Barefoot.

Get the book CSS Mastery (I can’t remember the author). It’s a really good CSS book. I have a copy, but I haven’t seen it since the move. I’m going to dig around for it because I need to look up some stuff too.

Sorry to hear Sebastian wasn’t feeling well. Maybe he had a Mommy Deficiency, and he figured the ol’ sad eyes treatment was a good way to remedy that.
I can tell you merely tolerate that animal in your house anyway out of pity, I guess. I mean it’s NOT like they actually have feelings, is it? They are JUST dumb animals!
If you believe this is the way I REALLY feel, there’s an old church right in downtown San Antonio, but it’s a bit of a “fixer-upper”. Seems as if some time in the past there was some manner of gang fight there.
