Why are you surprised that “…a man ~15 years your junior…” would hit on you?? You look the same as you did when you tutored me in Algebra. Now if a woman 15 years MY junior hit on ME that would be amazing. That would be someone approximately your age. I do NOT look the same as I did back then. Some things, like cheese (or CheezWhiz) age better than others do.
I haven’t taken any Creative Writing since Comp II, but once, when I was an instructor at an Army Reserve School, I tried to teach Effective Writing to some Army Senior NCOs. You ever heard the one about teaching a pig to sing? It’s a waste of time and it annoys the pig.
